Tom Hughes

Tom Hughes, former president of PhotoDisc, Inc. and of Northshore Publishing, has more than 14 years of experience in building cutting-edge high technology companies. As president and co-founder of PhotoDisc, Inc. (www.photodisc.com), Hughes wrote the original business plan and led the company from inception to a corporation with $60 million gross revenue and substantial profits in seven years. In 1998, PhotoDisc, Inc. was sold to Getty Communications for approximately $250 million.

Hughes serves (or has served) on the boards of; Avenue A Media, Ripcord Systems, Talisma/Aditi software, Loudeye , Avolo.com and Vacationspot.com.

Tom graduated from the University of Washington.
